Whitemountain secure £40m Northern Ireland Term Contract

    Whitemountain, part of the Lagan Group, have secured a three year £40m highway maintenance contract in Northern Ireland for TransportNI.

    The contract, which involves major asphalt resurfacing with associated minor civil engineering works and complex traffic management arrangements, covers Belfast City, Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon.

    Whitemountain are the largest highway maintenance contractor working on behalf of TransportNI delivering in excess of £35m of work per annum in asphalt resurfacing, minor civil engineering, small scale and responsive works, road lighting, road marking and surface dressing.

    In addition to the highway maintenance activities, Whitemountain are currently delivering £85m of UK projects works including RAF Valley, London Luton Airport and pavement works to Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route in Joint Venture with Breedon.
