The Simplicity Group is taking on an awe-inspiring challenge – to collectively walk, run, and cycle 2,655km throughout July.
The initiative – which the team are in the final stretch of, with 300km to go – is all in aid of an incredibly worthy cause; to raise funds for Women’s Aid, a charity conducting crucial work in Northern Ireland.
The charity has been chosen in light of the team’s awareness that too many women and children live in fear. Since 2020, 27 women in Northern Ireland have lost their lives to male violence, a statistic that Women’s Aid are working every day to change.
Women’s Aid provides emergency refuge, emotional support, and practical help to those escaping abuse, work that’s truly life-saving.
