In a significant deal, Sunbelt Rentals UK and Europe has announced the acquisition of 200+ welfare vans. This acquisition represents an impressive increase of over 130 per cent to their welfare fleet, enabling them to better serve their customers and meet the growing demand for welfare solutions across the UK and Europe.
One of the key areas this acquisition strengthens is their presence in Scotland and the North of England, regions where their coverage has previously been limited. With this expanded fleet, the company are now better positioned to respond to the needs of both new and long-standing customers. With their welfare vans currently operating at over 90 per cent utilisation, this highlights the high demand for these essential services.
The newly-acquired fleet includes Ford EcoBoost models, each with safety and compliance features. Many of these vans are HVO compliant and solar supported, reinforcing the company’s commitment to low carbon and zero emission solutions as part of their sustainability strategy, Our Planet. These vehicles have been designed with worker comfort and safety in mind with features including toilet and hand-wash facilities, USB charging, air conditioning and secure storage options.
