Strong Exhibitor Support for the 2014 Balmoral Show

Plant and machinery exhibitors will be putting on a strong display at the forthcoming Balmoral Show, with the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society hoping to break last year’s record attendance during the three day event in May.

Any reservations that the Show would not live up to its billing at its new home at the Maze were quickly dismissed last year and with further improvements having been made at the venue, this year’s event promises much.

It will be significantly bigger than last year, with more space for trade stands, agriculture and plant and machinery exhibitors.

Commented Colin McDonald, chief executive of the RUAS: “Already bookings for space are up around 25% to 30% on where we would expect to be at this time of the year, and we are seeing more support from plant and machinery exhibitors, clearly attracted by the bigger area to showcase and demonstrate their products and services.”

We will be carrying a full report in the next edition of Plant & Civil Engineer.
