Organisers tell us that adverse weather has left ground conditions in the Dig Zone at PLANTWORX in a very poor state, but the show goes on, with the Zone being relocated to another field on the Stoneleigh Site, necessitating other changes to the overall lay-out of the exhibition area.
Mike Coleman, PLANTWORX Operations Director said, “Adverse weather has always been the nightmare of outdoor operations – and regrettably Plantworx 2013 is not exempt.
“However by staying calm and being positive, not to mention many hours working into the night, I am convinced that we have ended up with a strong and well laid out event.
“There has been the need for compromise but in the vision of a ‘show for the Industry by the Industry’ I hope that the Industry will understand and work with us in presenting the first working construction show since 2009 – a true exhibition of what is available in today’s Construction Industry.”
The good news is that the new Dig Zone location means that the show, which takes place between May 14th and May 16th, will be much more visible, now being in three adjacent fields and that site access will be much easier for exhibitor set up and breakdown.
