Get ready for Plant, Construction & Quarry Awards 2015

With the economy here now on the long road to recovery, what better way to celebrate the future of our construction industry than to revive what was one of the biggest events in the calendar – the Plant & Civil Engineer ‘Plant, Construction & Quarry’ awards!

The annual showcase was sadly and reluctantly put ‘on hold’ when the recession bit deep into the industry a few years ago, but that’s all behind us now and we are forging ahead with preparations that will see the return of the awards, set once again to become Ireland’s premier platform of recognition for the industry!

However, to achieve that goal we need YOUR support because without YOU, the event would not be possible to stage. Thankfully, many of you have already indicated your backing and we can now announce that the 2015 awards will take place on Thursday, November 26th at the Ramada Hotel in South Belfast. It will be a gala evening to be remembered!

It goes without saying that everyone involved in the plant, construction and quarrying sectors is working hard to make a better future for the industry in particular and for the country in general, but those endeavours are rarely acknowledged, recognised or rewarded – and here at Plant & Civil Engineer magazine we want to put that right!

We want the awards to be a recognition and a celebration of your hard work and determination, of your continued investment in people and products, in innovation and latest technologies, and in the strength of the partnerships you have developed, so let’s hear from you.

Could you be the Construction Company of the Year? Do you operate the Hardrock Quarry of the Year? Could you be Tipper Driver of the Year? Or Civil Engineer of the Year? Now is your opportunity to show you can be among the best in your particular field.

There are 14 categories in the Awards, so there is bound to be one or more that is applicable to your area of expertise and activity, whether it is in plant hire, civil engineering, quarrying, construction or heavy haulage – virtually every aspect of the plant, construction and quarrying sectors is catered for.

Entering any category or categories is simple and fast and you can do it online. You don’t have to be nominated for any awards, just enter yourself or your company directly. Of course, if you also want to separately nominate any companies or individuals other than your own, you can do so. You’ll find more details on how to enter elsewhere in this issue of the magazine.

Clearly, the Awards ceremony will be a perfect opportunity to prove that you deserve to be recognised as being among the very best in the industry. Apart from receiving a beautiful and much sought after cut glass trophy, you will also benefit from the industry-wide recognition and prestige that comes with such success.

As tables for the gala dinner and awards presentation – and overnight accommodation at the hotel – are likely to be booked up very quickly, we would advise you get in early so as not to miss what will be a night never to forget!

We want YOU to be a part of that. As we mentioned, you’ll find all you need to know elsewhere in the next print issue of Plant & Civil Engineer. Alternatively, call us on 028 9268 8888 for more information.
