Euro Auctions Expands Canadian Operations with the Acquisition of Jardine Auctioneers and North Toronto Auction

Euro Auctions, from Dromore, Northern Ireland, and one of the world’s leading auction houses specialising in heavy construction plant, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment, is delighted to announce the acquisition of North Toronto Auction (NTA) of Innisfil, Ontario, following the recent acquisition of Jardine Auctioneers Inc. of Fredericton, New Brunswick, in March this year.

These two prominent Canadian auction companies joining the Euro Auctions Group strategically cements Euro Auctions’ presence in Canada, underscoring the group’s commitment to delivering national coverage and enhanced customer service across the region. Jardine Auctioneers Inc and North Toronto Auction, join Michener Allen, the third Canadian auction house in the group, now making five permanent auction sites now operational in Canada.

Euro Auctions acquired North Toronto Auction (NTA), based in Innisfil, Ontario. Founded in 2002 by Matt Rispin, Frank Panza, and Stuart Ralph, NTA has grown to become a leading auction house in the Toronto region, commanding significant market share in industrial equipment, automotive, and RV sales.

Operating from a modern 17-acre facility just 50 minutes north of Toronto Pearson International Airport, NTA hosts monthly heavy equipment sales alongside its strong automotive and RV auction calendar. The business will retain its existing brand and all 64 employees, with Matt Rispin continuing as Managing Director.

Jardine Auctioneers, joined the Euro Auctions global group on the 26 March 2025. Jardine Auctioneers are a respected family-run business with over 25 years of experience. Operating from a 10-acre yard on a 139-acre site in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jardine currently conducts over 100 auctions annually, specialising in auto, commercial vehicle, and industrial equipment sales.

Founded in 1982 by Frank and John Jardine, the company has grown steadily, with a loyal customer base across Atlantic Canada. In addition to auction services, the business also operates a transportation division and benefits from a dedicated site featuring auction rooms, workshops, and storage space. The business is currently led by John Jardine and Blair Sissons, both of whom will continue to play a key role in the national management team in Canada.

The addition of Jardine Auctioneers, expands Euro Auctions’ Canadian footprint to the East Coast and builds on an existing 20-year working relationship between the other Canadian auction house in the group, Michener Allen.
