Countdown to bauma 2025

    The world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery will once again be held at the exhibition centre in Munich from 7 to 13 April, 2025. From the digital construction site to alternative drives and tomorrow’s construction methods, the most important topics will be discussed and innovative solutions will be presented.

    Visitors from 200 countries are expected to attend the event which remains a powerhouse for the construction sector, with over 3, 200 exhibitors from across the globe, encompassing construction, machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment.

    No other trade fair for the industry has so many movers and shakers who want to prepare business and make investments. By visiting just this one trade fair, you get access to all the markets of the world.

    Nowhere else can you discover so many world premieres and experience entire ecosystems, from exhibitors and experts to start-ups and young talents to the latest research developments.

    Every bauma presents new ideas from the construction machinery industry to further improve safety on the construction site and the working conditions for employees. These also include ergonomic and intuitive controls, vibration-damping technologies, as well as driver assistance, telematics and overload indicator systems.

    Bauma 2025 will put in the spotlight five key topics related to digitisation through to sustainability: 

    Climate neutrality – strategy, investment, roadmap;

    Alternative drive concepts – opportunities, limits, infrastructure;

    Networked construction – machines, processes, people;

    Sustainable construction – carbon footprint, resource conservation, circular economy; and

    Mining Challenges – securing the supply of raw materials, automation, ESG.

    Companies returning to exhibit at bauma 2025 include Volvo, Deutz, Liugong, CNH, Skyjack and JLG. Joining their ranks for the first time are such companies as Fortescue, DSI/Sandvik, EXiron AG, Gravis Robotics AG, Metso Oyj, rockrobot oy, Wabtec Corporation and WEICO GmbH. Around 150 new exhibitors will be at bauma 2025 as well.
