Celebrating Caterpillar’s Centennial and ‘The Next 100 Years’

Caterpillar will showcase a wide range of equipment, technologies, power options, and services at bauma. The theme, “The Next 100 Years,” highlights Caterpillar’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Covering over 9,000 m2, Caterpillar’s exhibit will feature 48 machines, including 17 new introductions or upgrades. These include enhancements to the battery electric line-up, expansions to the Next Generation line-up, and additions to the Demolition, Waste Handling, and Recycling portfolios.

“We are excited to be returning to bauma this April,” said Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Jim Umpleby. “What we will show will be a fitting tribute to our heritage while demonstrating our commitment to building a safer, smarter and more sustainable world with our customers and dealers for the next 100 years. Alternative power sources, reduced carbon options, and integrated technologies are the future, and Caterpillar is ready to deliver this in collaboration with our global dealer network.”

The Cat Performance Centre will take centre-stage, showcasing the possibilities when power, machinery, technology and autonomy work together. The display will focus on a range of solutions designed to support our customers be more successful on their respective jobsites, including helping increase performance, streamline efficiencies and achieve their sustainability goals. Visitors will have the chance to simulate how upgrading their fleet with Caterpillar’s latest machine technologies can lead to significant reductions in fuel consumption and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Additionally, the Cat Performance Centre will feature the latest 301.9 Mini Hydraulic Excavator and 906 Compact Wheel Loader from the battery electric product offerings, both are available through select Cat® dealer rental fleets. The newest updates to the 320 and 950 GC prototypes will also be showcased, along with associated charging options and services.
